Since the age of 16, Christina knew she wanted
to build a career that centered on helping people. Initially narrowing
down her choice population to athletes, she pursued her bachelor’s degree in Athletic
Training because she wanted to help the injured athletes get back to what they
do best. As her educational path took her many places, she discovered other
passions along the way. Since the beginning of her fitness career in 1999, she has
continued her education in group fitness, personal training, Pilates, massage
therapy, and of course, speed, strength and conditioning for the athlete of any
age.
Formerly, she was a Sports Performance Director of Lightning Fast Training
Systems in Downingtown, PA, for a number of years. Having worked under her mentor, Duane
Carlisle (now the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Francisco
49ers), Christina has had the opportunity to work with many professional
athletes, from the Philadelphia Charge Womens’ Professional Soccer
team, to NFL athletes. She has also spent time with the staff at Athletes' Performance
in Tempe, AZ and Penscola, FL learn their system of training the Pro's!
In 2003, she joined the staff at the prestigious Lawrenceville School in Central NJ, just outside of Princeton, as assistant strength and conditioning coach. In 2005, she took over the program and the position of the Director of Strength and Conditioning, servicing all of their athletic teams.
In March 2010, Christina created a "Pilates for Athletes" program, geared towards taking the founding principles of the Pilates Method and applying them to the needs of athletes. It was then that she spent some time with the San Francisco 49ers football team, training the players and teaching them core control (producing force and resisting force) from multiple different functional positions related to football.
In April 2011, her mentor Duane Carlisle recruited her to assist him at Purdue University. Christina currently serves as the Associate Director of Sports Performance and is the head performance coach for the Boilermaker's soccer team as well as the nationally-ranked women's basketball and women's volleyball teams. Keep up to date on the Boilermakers' succes at www.purduesports.com!
Christina continues to keep on the cutting edge of sports performance, fitness, nutrition,
wellness, and recovery. After participating in her a few sprint triathlons over the last
few years, Christina has found a new intriguing sport to call her hobby!
Christina is currently a staff writer for a fitness blog on Lightning Fast Fitness. (site going live mid-August 2010) Click here to visit: www.lightningfastfitness.com. Stay tuned for the newest

PHILOSOPHY
Christina
believes in a 360-degree approach to training. Although there are many
dimensions to fitness and performance training, each training session is an
individual attempt to become better in some way and each dimension of the
athlete is just as important as the next. One cannot make efficient and effective strides without the
training, conditioning, recovery, nutrition, and mental focus all being in
balance. It’s all about the 360-approach to optimal performance, physical
results, and improved self confidence and well-being!

TESTIMONIALS
ADULT (GROUP) FITNESS
"Christina is awesome and her (kickboxing) class
kicks my butt every time! ~Liz M.
"I took a (cycling) class yesterday
morning that was taught by Christina. The class was phenomenal and I have to
say that Christina was probably top five of the best instructors that I have
ever had. I believe that it did not matter what type of ride it was, but that
she reinforced all of the best principals as the ride progressed, from
position, pace, to breathing, reminding me to watch how I was riding at all
times. Great class! I think all of the
instructors would improve their teaching by sitting in on one of her
classes." ~Kerry
"I just took Groove for the first
time. Christina is an amazing
instructor. She goes through the steps
in manner that is easy to catch on to.
The class totally kicked my butt.
I will defintely be taking this class on Saturdays. Thanks Christina!" ~Erin C.
"Christina is wonderful. I have the
pleasure of having her as an instructor in Groove, and, of
all of the instructors I haveve had, she is the easiest to follow. She always
cues you and she is a powerful motivator. My weight loss was at a standstill
for a very long time, and it has finally moved in the right direction. I have
recommended Christina to a lot of my friends that are members and they all
agree with me-the classes are great and Christina is wonderful." ~Ava B.
"I wanted to take a minute to thank you
for a great Pilates session last night.
Not only did I wake up feeling teriffic, but the arm that was causing me
trouble feels 90% better. I have a lot more movement, and a lot less pain. I
guess you helped me stretch my muscles in a way that was neeeded. I appreciate your dedication, knowledge, and
above all your patience with my sometimes slow learning curve! You are the
best!" ~Chris W.
